I am a regular customer and have been going there all the time for about 2 years. But what used to be 5+ stars is now unfortunately 2 stars ... the last 3 - 4 meals were slack and simply disappointing. Little spice and watery. Hence an average of 3 stars. PLEASE come back to your great level to keep your regular customers. I would love to improve the rating then.

Amazing place and amazing food! Wide varieties of super delicious food 🤤 They have meat and vegetarian options as well. The lunch menu is very nice. The price is very suitable for what you get, the portions are large. The nan bread is totally recommended! You must try it when you visit. Also the mango lassi 🥭 is very delicious and matches with the spicy food. The decorations are beautiful and the people are so warm, welcoming and friendly. Definitely won’t be my last time! Thanks!

The quality and tast of the food here was pehonomenial. And the service and owner were very friendly and humble. I would definitely come back with my family after lockdown.

Really super delicious food! Took me right back to India! The staff is also totally friendly and happy to tell great stories about India. Every thing in the restaurant hides a story. You can tell that a lot of effort went into choosing the facilities.

Very tasty food both take away and on site. Very good meat quality. As staff is friendly. When something went wrong with our order, we responded very quickly and after a short time we had the right food on the table.

Went there twice in a row, best Indian food we've ever had. The food is delicious, the lemonades are great, the service is great and the price / performance ratio is unbeatable. We will be back!

Updated version: Maybe I didn’t explain it clearly. In Most of the other Indian restaurants I visited, they use chicken leg meat. Because the meat tastes more delicate than chicken breast meat. Yes, the waitress asked me if everything is ok, and I said yes. I meant that the food is ok. It’s just not the food I expected in an almost 5 stars restaurant. Overall the service was good and friendly. This is my opinion. I’m sorry if you don’t like it. Old Review: We went to the place because of its high scores. We visited couple Indian restaurants before and kind of know the speciality and flavor of this cuisine. I expected the same from this one. Unfortunately it was not a really good experience for us. We ordered chicken curry and lamb curry. About the chicken curry, they used the normal chicken breast filet, not the chicken leg meat, and the curry tasted like sweet chili sauces. The lamb was overcooked. And the Naan is just ok. Therefore I just want to give three stars. I hope they will hire a better Indian chef in the future.

Awesome food

Friendly restaurant at very affordable prices and very professional welcome. The menu is well supplied, fresh products and very nice presentation of the dishes. We ate very well .. I recommend among other things the garlic nans they are excellent. By cons no parking space you can park in the streets nearby BUT pay attention to private spaces otherwise your vehicle will be removed.

The food was great. Authentic food. The chicken tikka masala we had, could be improved though. Hariyaali naan was delicious. The homemade drinks are great. Lot of options. Friendly staff. Would definitely recommend.

Real Indian touch food and staff is really polite. They even accepted our order at the closing time and served us with smile.

We arrived at the restaurant without a reservation and there were 4 adults and 4 children. They greeted us all beautifully. Little care. Smiling . Very good restaurant. Very good dish at affordable prices. The rice was at will, except in France, many make you pay extra. Pleasantly surprised and highly recommend it. I will go back there when I am not far from Freiburg.

We went for lunch on a Friday afternoon. The restaurant wasn't bustling with people, but had most of its tables occupied. We ordered a veg Thali and Malai kofta with alooparatha. They serve a fairly large portion size. Which is a plus point if you're famished! In terms of flavors and textures I have definitely had better north Indian food in Freiburg. The mango lassi was watered down, alooparatha was thick with dough more than filling and the Malai kofta wasn't really how you'd have it in other Punjabi /Indian restaurants. But overall, great service. Very friendly staff. And clean ambience. Might try other Indian restaurants in the city before I return here.

The food was not the only thing that made eyes wide at this inn! I really enjoy trying out new places and am always on the lookout for new places to eat, but I will stay loyal to this restaurant. From our point of view, a visit is highly recommended. The chairs are extremely comfortable and I find the distance between the tables particularly justifiable. There you certainly don't get the feeling of having dinner like sardines in a can. Prominent and polite service. I think all the staff did a good job there.

Very tasty Indian / Pakistani food, nice service. The food comes quickly and is plentiful, and the prices are very reasonable. When the weather is nice, you can also sit outside.

Not very tasty, basic dishes without any measurable effort. Basic sauces, cooked without curry paste and without spices. Too much salt.

Good Indian food! Most of their dishes are not spicy but the lamb vindaloo was decently spiced and would be enjoyed by Indians looking to find authentic Indian food in Freiburg. The tandoori platter is also great to share. They have samosas and lassi which are nice. The kashmiri tea is awful though. It's just milk with literally no tea in it. Other than that quite delicious. Probably good to get a reservation because it can get busy .

Absolutely recommend Kashmir for great authentic Indian food. I really enjoyed my experience from the great restaurant appeal to the amazing dishes and cleanliness of the place, to the great hospitality of the owner and staff. This is a must try for anyone in Freiburg, Germany.

Great restaurant with good food at good prices. Dad staff could have been a bit more attentive since we forgot the cutlery after the food was brought in. The own cocktails without alcohol are also very tasty. The price-performance ratio is right.

No waiting around, a fun new place to try for dinner. Really like this place, not too expensive. The waiter who served us was in fact friendly and got a great smile. This is one of the best Indian restaurants in Freiburg. I have tried almost all the Indian restaurants in Freiburg, but the taste in Kashmir is more authentic and less germanized. I would definitely recommend this restaurant at any time.

I had dinner once with my friend. The price is good and the food is very authentic. I enjoyed the dinner. It is a bit far from the center so it is not as popular as the one in the center. But it is definitely a good place to enjoy Indian curry with your friends or family.

All the dishes including the lassi tasted very authentic and delicious. One of the best Indian restaurants in my experience. The portions were also very generous and the prices reasonable.

Great food, warm and cozy restaurant and friendly staff! We ordered paneer pakora as a starter to warm up our palette and it really set the tone for the rest of the evening. It was great and yummii and not very expensive, they serve rice or nan with each dish which is very thoughtful so if you're looking for nice and not too spicy Indian food you shoud really consider Kashmir! Plus, they have vegan options peeps 😍

I was there with my husband who was already for a while in India. We both enjoyed the food a lot! It was a buffet at the night we were there, so we were lucky to have the chance to try different foods! All of them were so tasty! A part of the food, the staff and the owner are super friendly! We were welcomed so warmly and it was a very nice night there!I highly recommend this restaurant!

Tastes authentic spicy Indian food. If you want the Indian spicy, just tell them and they will make you feel as if you are in India. If you don't want spicy, they have a range of delicious recipes. Try hariyali tandoor, chicken tikka masala and chicken korma. Also, the owner handed green tea bags as Christmas gifts, so it was the cherry on top!! Must visit!! Thr ambience is also great!!! Loved it.
